Aylesbury Grammar School

War Memorial in the hall of Aylesbury Grammar School

This school was founded in the year 1598 by Sir Henry Lee Bart of Ditchley in the county of Oxon and was further endowed and made a free school by Henry Phillips, gentleman of London. The school was transferred from the old buildings in St Mary's Square in the year 1907 and this hall and the science laboratories were erected in the year 1954 after the main building had been severely damaged by fire.

In memory of former pupils who were killed in the two world wars and all who served in them.
