There is a brass altar cross in the church but we have
been unable to access it.
It reads:
To the glory of God and
in ever loving memory of
Leslie Stafford CHARLES
Captain Worcester Regt at. to RFC who served his king and
country in Gallipoli and France and lost his life fighting
over enemy lines near Peronne July 30th 1916
aged 21 years
