2nd Lieut 9th Gordon Highlanders 15th Division
of 'Oakdene', Wooburn, Bucks.
Killed in action at Loos, France on September 25th
1915 in his 24th year.
"Leading his men under a heavy fire he did perfectly
splendidly. All Accounts agree this officer performed
most gallantly leading the assault - took unaided two
trenches - in front the whole way - although previously
wounded that day"
He who gives his life for King and Country leaves
naught undone that man can do.
