Mrs Sacheverell-Coke and her Children
Some photographs
taken at her late husband’s beautiful place, Brookhill Hall,
Alfreton, Derbyshire. Mr Langton Sacheverell-Coke was in
the Irish Guards, and was killed in action on October 31,
1914. His heir is the little boy, Roger, seen in these pictures,
who was born in 1913, and is now lord of the manor of Pinxton
and joint lord of the manor of South Normanton. The little
girl’s name is Betty, and she is four years older than her
brother. Mrs Sacheverell-Coke is the daughter of the late
Captain George Huntingford, R.N.
