RND Missing Circular 29/3/16:- "Killed
by a bomb during operations
on the 20th June in the attack on the sap whilst talking
to three
others, two of whom were killed, the third wounded. His
body was
subsequently identified outside the sap by Petty Officer
Poole."
Born 16/1/1896. Formerly served 3 years with Training Ship
“Conway” as Senior Cadet Captain. Resided with father, Herbert
Edward Young, at “Claremont,” 147 Banbury Rd., Oxford.
